Founder & President
Sim has more than 20 years of experience as a developer, technical architect, project manager, director and promoter in the Information Technology industry. He has founded and managed consulting companies that have excelled in delivering IT solutions to customers in the telecommunications, retail, banking and manufacturing sectors.
As a trained Technical Architect of eCommerce solutions, he has extensive knowledge of a broad range of technologies, including UNIX, Windows and Netware operating systems, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and Informix databases, and a wide range of applications, languages and utilities.
Sim has a Masters Degree in Computer Applications and has earned numerous IT related certifications (Certified Internal Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT) from ISACA and Enterprise Content Management Specialist (ECMs) by AIIM).
As President of Reliance IT, Sim is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the company.
Aparna Rao
Director – Finance and Personnel
Aparna has more than a decade of industry experience as a consultant, software engineer and manager.
She graduated as an engineer and obtained her Masters Degree in Management from Oklahoma University. Aparna started her career as Analyst and Research Assistant. She subsequently moved to the field of Information Technology as a Software Engineer working for Xpedior. During her stint at Xpedior she was an active member of Supply Chain Management development group of Dallas Systems (currently part of Baan Software).
As a member of Reliance IT team Aparna was instrumental in establishing the company’s Accounting and Human Resources processes. She is actively involved in negotiations with vendors and management of HR affairs. She ensures that necessary controls are in place and followed, thus ensuring the stability and robustness of Reliance IT in providing to our customers.
Brent Entrop
Director – Client Services
Brent has over two decades of experience in Information Technology industry in various roles as Programmer, Database Administrator, System Analyst, Technical Architect and MIS Director.
At Reliance Brent is responsible for ensuring that the service exceeds client agreements. In this role Brent’s responsibility includes successful delivery, completion of all implementations, overseeing the performance of individual project managers and achieving budgeted and forecasted revenue recognition goals associated with client projects.
Brent holds a degree in business management coupled with several training programs in Database Administration, Data Warehousing and Middleware Applications.
Ken Kurk
Director – Federal Sales
Ken has over 10 years of experience completing bids and negotiations of over 200 million dollars in prime and sub-contracting for the Federal Government Contracting.
He was medically retired as Service Disabled Veteran after serving 12 years in the Air Force. Ken received 31 medals and decorations as a Command and Control Operator. His military career provided a wealth of experience in all facets of voice and data communications utilizing satellite, radio, radar and aerospace assets. He has served in Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, ALLIED FORCE and DESERT FOX.

Andrew Wilson
Federal Business Manager
Andrew plays a vital role in leveraging Reliance IT’s capabilities, past performance and small business status to assist in contract procurement. His efforts have successfully led to identifying and positioning Reliance IT for the purposes of partnering or joint venturing to maximize their capabilities, acquiring new projects, and assisting contractors in meeting their Small Business Set-aside goals. His studies at Baylor University provided him with a sound understanding of American Constitution Law, Public Policy and Principles of Public Administration.
Andrew has been enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps since 2003. He has been deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and his awards include the Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terror Medal and Navy Sea Service Deployment ribbon.
Jaynee Alvarez
Communications Specialist
Jaynee graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with a major in Communications and an emphasis in PR & Advertising.
Previously, she had the opportunity to work at KGMA as Communications intern, where she initially became familiarized with the company. She has background experience in the broadcasting industry working as a Disc Jockey at 88.3 KJCR FM.
Currently, as Communications Specialist, she works with a wonderful group of people who are dedicated and committed to giving their best.
